Andrew has been a building surveyor since 1984 and formed Matsim Properties in 1996. He has been Brighton based since childhood. He has directly overseen the development of numerous properties ranging from period listed houses to modern office blocks. He is involved in all aspects of the property market and is an active participant in various local groups concerned with the future development of Brighton and Hove and takes an active interest in the planning process.

Mat oversees the project management and development side of the company and has a very hands on approach. He has worked in both construction and agency prior to joining Matsim and has a good understanding of the property industry. He sources new projects and oversees the existing portfolio of commercial and residential property.

Simon BSc (Hons) MA[email protected]
Simon followed the market out to his coastal home town after gaining valuable experience and contacts working in the London property market. He has a first in Property Investment & Management and a Masters in Globalisation and Development where he gained a keen interest in regeneration and future trends. A strong belief in social and economic development has lead him to grow the firm’s charitable interests locally and abroad. He is a member of the Brighton & Hove Economic Partnership among other local groups concerned with the development of the Greater Brighton Region.

Sophia is the newest ‘Lambor’ to join the Matsim team. After 7 years in residential agency she has decided to get an insight into the commercial side of the industry.
